Been doing this dance for 23 years now. Started in corporate law, quickly realized the real action was in cross-border stuff. I've negotiated deals in 15 countries, survived more all-nighters than I care to count, and somehow still love what I do.

Look, mergers and acquisitions sound fancy, but really it's about helping businesses grow without shooting themselves in the foot. I've closed over 200 deals, from small tech acquisitions to massive international mergers.

My approach? Cut through the jargon, understand what both sides actually want, and find a way to make it happen. Plus I speak Mandarin, which helps when you're doing deals in Asia.

International trade law is basically where commerce meets diplomacy meets a whole lot of paperwork. I help companies navigate tariffs, trade agreements, customs issues - all the stuff that can make or break an international business.

Spent five years at the WTO before joining private practice. Now I use that insider knowledge to help clients actually understand what's happening with their cross-border deals.
